Riverdale season 5 is finally on Netflix

Surprise! It’s good news this time! Riverdale season 5 is now streaming on Netflix.

We thought Riverdale season 5 would be added to Netflix on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021. Almost all new seasons of The CW shows are added to Netflix eight days after their finales air on The CW. The Riverdale season 5 finale should have been added to Netflix on Thursday, Oct. 14, because the season finale aired on Wednesday, Oct. 6.

Well, that day came and went, and nothing happened! Riverdale season 5 wasn’t on Netflix. On top of that, it wasn’t even on the list of Netflix new releases for the month of October.

On top of all that, Netflix was missing new seasons of Legacies, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl. What is going on? Where is the new season of one of the best Netflix shows?

Riverdale season 5 release date on Netflix

Finally, Netflix added Riverdale season 5 on Monday, Oct. 18, along with the new seasons of Supergirl, Legacies, and Legends of Tomorrow. 

This is obviously incredible news for Riverdale fans. We’ve all been waiting so long to see Riverdale season 5 on Netflix.

The season would have premiered on The CW in the fall of 2020, but it was delayed until January 2021 because of the pandemic. Then, the midseason break for season 5 was more than like four months long.

Finally, you can watch the new season of Riverdale and get caught up before Riverdale season 6 premieres on The CW. You actually won’t have to wait very long for that.

Riverdale season 6 release date

Riverdale season 6 premieres on The CW on Nov. 16, 2021. That’s right; you have less than a month to watch season 5 and get caught up before season 6 premieres.

This season is going to be very special for the series. We know Sabrina Spellman, played by Kiernan Shipka of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, has been confirmed to be coming to Riverdale for season 6.

The season kicks off with a special five-episode story before the midseason break.

Riverdale season 6 is going to be awesome, but it won’t be on Netflix until the spring or summer of 2022. Stay tuned for more news about the hit series!
