Netflix adding 19 new movies and shows this week

A new week is here, October is halfway over (does time even have meaning anymore?), and Netflix is adding a bunch of new movies and shows to their lineup! This week brings a new Netflix Original horror movie just in time for Halloween, a new season of a spooky Netflix Original series, and a new series from Gwenyth Paltrow.

Night Teeth is coming to Netflix on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021. The thriller follows Benny, a college student who decides to become a freelance driver for a night to earn some extra money. Two friends hire him for the night to take them party-hopping, but Benny could never have expected where this night would take him. One word: vampires.

Season 2 of Locke & Key is also coming to Netflix this week. It hits the streaming service on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021. Season 2 will start where season 1 left off with (spoilers!) Dodge turning out to be alive and ready to hunt for keys more than ever. The kids will also be dealing with what it means to be the Keepers of the Keys and growing older. In this world, when you’re 18, you lose the magic. What will that mean for the characters and how they move forward?

Gwenyth Paltrow is back with her goop. Sex, Love, & goop hits Netflix on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021. This time, the actress is covering relationships and how to make them better, sex, and how to achieve deeper intimacy with your partner. The official synopsis says:

"Gwyneth Paltrow and the goop team bring us Sex, Love & goop. This series follows courageous couples who, with the help of experts, learn lessons and methods to enhance their relationships through more pleasurable sex and deeper intimacy."

As with most things related to goop, take the “experts” with a grain of salt and do your own research. goop doesn’t have the best track record for good practices especially when it comes to health. Just be cautious.

This week also brings season 4 of Dynasty on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, and Found, a documentary where three sisters look for their birth parents, on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021.
