You season 3 finally premiered on Netflix and reunited viewers with the full-on continued craziness of Joe and Love, and it’ll leave you wanting more in You season 4.

In the third season, Joe and Love attempt to live a normal life in Madre Linda, but their truth soon bubbles to the surface and overflows into a chaos we hadn’t yet seen in this truly wild ride of a show. Seriously, you don’t want to blink during the season finale.

Don’t worry, this is a spoiler-free zone, but after the way You season 3 came to an end, there’s no way there’s not more to the story. We won’t reveal who lives, who dies, and who could potentially rub elbows with another Netflix original series character (we can dream).

After You season 3, has Netflix canceled or renewed the popular series? Here’s what you need to know about what’s to come of Joe Goldberg in You season 4.

Is You canceled or renewed on Netflix?

Thankfully, Netflix announced the season 4 renewal of You in advance of the season 3 premiere, which allowed fans in the know to watch without worry of unresolved cliffhangers.

Announcing a renewal before a season even starts streaming isn’t something Netflix usually does. More often than not, the streamer will wait to announce a renewal at least a month after the latest season. However, we’ve been waiting on word about Outer Banks season 3 since July.

You season 4 release date predictions

Obviously, we know for sure that 10 more episodes of You will be on the way to Netflix at some point, but exactly when those episodes will premiere is as much of a mystery as those final moments. Of course, we’d like to see You season 4 debut in 2022.

Right now, the earliest we could see You season 4 on Netflix would be fall 2022, provided Netflix is able to start production at the end of 2021 or early 2022. There’s also the possibility that the fourth season won’t premiere until 2023 given the nearly two-year gap between seasons 2 and 3.

We’ll choose to be optimistic and hope that season 4 will premiere on Netflix in 2022 along with many other highly anticipated Netflix originals confirmed for 2022 like Dead to Me season 3, Sweet Magnolias season 2, and Stranger Things season 4.
