Mary Anne and Logan have been circling each other on The Baby-Sitters Club since season 1. The shy teens made progress in their romance in the finale, sharing a kiss at Camp Moosehead in the midst of a protest. But that doesn’t necessarily mean the two made the leap to being a couple in The Baby-Sitters Club season 2.

Feelings can be complicated and the course of love never did run smooth let alone for kids learning the ins and outs of what it means to like someone. Not to mention there’s the fickleness of youth to factor in with crushes coming and going like the wind.

However, Mary Anne and Logan have consistently been the apple of each other’s eyes and with a new school year under way in the show, there was plenty of opportunity for the two to decide what they wanted to be to one another.

Here’s what we know about the teens’ relationship status in season 2!

Are Mary Anne and Logan together in The Baby-Sitters Club season 2?

Spoilers ahead for The Baby-Sitters Club season 2

Just before the start of the school year, Mary Anne confessed to her friends that she and Logan hadn’t made much progress in their relationship after their shared kiss at camp. In typical friend fashion, they lovingly ribbed her about the stagnant waters she was stuck in and gave her advice on what to do next.

Kristy, ever the straight forward one, suggested that Mary Anne tell Logan that she misses him. That idea, however, got vetoed by the group because why be direct when you could just prolong things by seeming disinterested whilst also being deeply invested?

Thankfully, their fearless leader took matters into her own hands and called Logan anyway so that he could meet Mary Anne poolside at the Thomas-Brewer manor. From there the two began talking again. Enough so that by February Logan asked Mary Anne to be his girlfriend and sealed their coupledom with a bracelet he bought for her

It’s very sweet as is the sudden panic the two get thrown in when they’re treated differently by their friends. They hate the couples’ table at school, but it’s where they’d been relegated since becoming an item. Mary Anne was bothered by Stacy shoving her out of the group because she assumed her friend would rather be spending her time with her boyfriend.

Then there was the added pressure of holidays like Valentine’s Day where Mary Anne had to skip out on what sounds like a BSC Galentine’s sleepover because she was one half of a couple, and she and Logan felt obligated to have plans.

It all eventually bubbled over after an awkward double date with her dad and Sharon led Mary Anne to admit that things were so stilted between her and Logan that she was starting to question their relationship. She missed her friend and they could barely talk to one another anymore.

The quickest solution to rectifying this problem was talking and that’s what Mary Anne and Logan did. They decided to go back to being friends who like each other, removing the label of boyfriend and girlfriend from their relationship.

The two aren’t quite undefined as it’s clear in season 2 that they do want to be together. They’re just not ready to make it official.

To be honest, it’s a mature move for them to recognize that they aren’t mature enough to be able to navigate the waters of romance in their own way without too much influence from others. Though given how they feel about each other, it won’t be long before Mary Anne and Logan are ready to label their relationship again.
