Riverdale remains one of our favorite shows on Netflix, and we know we’re not alone. The CW drama series finished season 5 in October 2021, just ahead of the upcoming season 6 premiere in November. But how many of these seasons can you watch on Netflix?

Of course, Riverdale was one of the first shows from The CW to earn the coveted “Netflix bump” after the series gained immense popularity when the first season started streaming. Ever since then, it’s been a top title on the streamer and a highly discussed wild ride.

In Riverdale season 5, the gang wrapped up their high school years with prom and graduation before the series jumped ahead seven years. It’s a different era for Archie and his friends as they go their separate ways but come back together to deal with the past, present, and future.

Since we’re currently looking forward to Riverdale season 6 and the hotly anticipated crossover with Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (it’s finally happening!), how many seasons of the series can you add to your Netflix watch list right now, and where is season 5?

Riverdale seasons on Netflix

As of Oct. 17, 2021, four seasons of Riverdale are available to watch on Netflix. The first season contains 13 episodes, the second and third seasons contain 22 episodes, and the fourth season had only 19 episodes, which is also the case for season 5.

Speaking of season 5, the latest season will be coming to Netflix in the U.S., but fans are definitely wondering what’s going on since the new episodes didn’t drop on the streamer the week after the televised finale.

On Oct. 18, Netflix added the fifth season of Riverdale.

Riverdale season 5 is now streaming on Netflix.

It was a little longer wait than usual for a new season of the fan-favorite series to hit the streamer, but it was worth that wait as fans gear up for Sabrina Spellman’s arrival in season 6.
