Best shows on Netflix

Happy Weekend! It’s that time to figure out what your weekend Netflix binge will be. We are back with our recommendations to keep you entertained for the weekend. October has had many new releases already, with many more to come.

As we look at this week’s Netflix Top 10, we see repeats with popular Netflix originals like Squid Game, Sex Education, Maid and Midnight Mass. It is no surprise that only one week after its release on the streamer that Seinfeld is also now on this list.

And, it is October, so don’t forget to check all the fantastic spooky Halloween-themed movies and shows available to stream on Netflix.

Now on to the best shows for this weekend (Oct. 9-10, 2021).

On My Block

The latest teen dramedy to release on Netflix is On My Block. This series premiered its fourth and final season on Oct. 4, and viewers love it!

This coming-of-age series is equal parts drama and comedy and focuses on teens living in an inner-city Los Angeles neighborhood, Freeridge, as they navigate all the ups and downs of teen life. The fourth season picks up where the third left off, right after a two-year time jump.

The series stars Sierra Capri, Jason Genao, Brett Gray, Diego Tinoco, Jessica Marie Garcia and Julio Macias.

Netflix is making a spinoff of On My Block. Hopefully, Freeridge will be released soon!
