When time is Ada Twist, Scientist on Netflix?

Ada Twist, Scientist is the newest animated kids show coming to Netflix Junior!

The Netflix original series comes from creator Chris Nee and executive producers Barack and Michelle Obama. The team previously worked together on the Schoolhouse Rock! revamp, We the People, while Nee has served as a writer and producer for kids television for twenty years.

Ada Twist, Scientist is based on the book of the same name written by Andrea Beaty and illustrated by David Roberts. The #1 New York Times bestseller was first released in 2016 as a part of a STEM-focused picture book series, The Questioneers.

The main characters in the series are Ada Twist the scientist, Rosie Revere the engineer, and Iggy Peck the architect.

Although the show hasn’t officially been released yet, you can already watch a few episodes on the Netflix Junior Youtube channel! The episodes available areThe Great Stink (loosely based on the original book), Rosie’s Rockin’ Pet, Cake Twist, and Garden Party.

In Ada Twist, Scientist, Ada and her friends use the magic of science to answer their questions about the world! With real interviews and informative songs threaded throughout each episode, this is a great way for young children to learn that science is everywhere.

On each of their missions, Ada and her friends don’t get to their solution right away. They have to go through many questions, tests, and hypotheses in order to figure out why, what, how, and when.

"Pint-sized scientist Ada Twist and her two best friends are asking big questions — and working together to discover the truth about everything!"
