Is Corpse Bride on Netflix for Halloween 2021?

Are you ready for Halloween 2021? Netflix is, and we have the list of the Best movies and shows for the season.  Many people compile a list of their favorite Halloween-themed movies to watch during October, and this generally includes a least one film by Tim Burton. Corpse Bride is one of those movies on many of those lists, so is this movie on Netflix?

Corpse Bride is a stop-motion animated musical fantasy by Tim Burton. This is Burton’s third stop-motion film, but it is the first he directed.

The film stars some of Burton’s usual actors, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Christopher Lee, Deep Roy and Mike Gough, along with Emily Watson, Tracey Ullman, Albert Finney and Joanna Lumley. Burton’s composer Danny Elfman also has a role in this film and, of course, produced the soundtrack this time with the help of John August.

Depp plays Victor to Watson’s Victoria, and the two have an arranged marriage agreed upon by their families. While Victor is practicing his vows for the ceremony, he is pulled into the land of the dead. He meets Emily (Bonham Carter), a girl murdered after an elopement who wants to marry Victor.

Is Corpse Bride on Netflix?

The sad news for Burton fans is no, Corpse Bride isn’t available to stream on Netflix. It was removed in June 2021.

It seems the only Burton film currently on the streamer is Mars Attacks. But Burton is directing the live-action Wednesday series for Netflix, which is exciting news.
