Warning: This article contains spoilers of Sex Education season 3!

Tomorrow, Sept. 24, marks a full week since Sex Education season 3debuted on Netflix, and fans are still scratching their heads at all of the untied ends that the third season left us with.

In the third season alone, we were given so much heartbreak, close calls, reunions and a poop spectacle that led to one of our favorite couples since the first season finally confessing their true feelings for one another and getting together. Simply put, fans were put on such an emotional coaster and it doesn’t look like they’re getting off of the crazy ride until the fourth season of the series (hopefully) arrives.

However, fans are certainly not alone in their endless inquiries as we, too, have some things that we would love to see resolved in the fourth season. Read on to find out what are the five biggest questions we have after watching Sex Education season 3.

Where will the students of Moordale Secondary School go?

This question is one that we’re sure that everyone has on their minds, being that it was one of two major cliffhangers in Sex Education season 3.

The students of Moordale Secondary School found themselves in some really hot water after their public rebellion against a Headmistress who refused to let them be who they were meant to be, as well as repress their ever-growing sensual needs.

Because of this, the beloved school was shut down, Headmistress Hope was fired, investors pulled out and this controversial school, known as the “Sex School,” is one that no one ever wants to step foot in again. With all this in mind, the future of the school is certainly a done deal, but what about the kids?

From the sounds of it, it looks like best buddies Otis Milburn and Eric Effiong will be attending the same school, but what about everyone else? Will Lily and Ola be separated? Where will Ruby and her posse go? Will Adam also attend the same school as Eric?

Right now, the students will most likely be sent to different schools, displaced miles away from the relationships they’ve formed and the memories they’ve made, but there is one thing that may prevent this outcome. One last-minute hope — Headmaster Hope.

Will Headmaster Hope return in Sex Education season 4?

Although she was the villain of Sex Education season 3, our rather intriguing Headmistress’s heart isn’t all ice cold.

As we know, Hope opened up about her struggles with infertility to Otis and how she feels like a complete failure. In this moment, we were able to see a more vulnerable side of Hope, yes, but most importantly, we were able to see that she wasn’t above learning about where she went wrong to possibly rectify her mistakes.

Otis filled her in on why the kids rebelled the way that they did, and though she still seemed a bit firm in why she did what she had to do, it was clear that even she accepted that she had gone too far.

With her holding herself accountable, she may be truly ready to give being Headmistress of Moordale Secondary School another go. After all, the school is her alma mater, and she’s the only one with the guts to have even taken on this Sex School in the first place. She can certainly do it again.

Perhaps this won’t be the last time we will see Headmistress Hope. Perhaps this will be. Either way, fans will be able to get on just fine especially considering the fact that a certain bully-turned-sweetheart will be returning once more, with assumedly a new lover.

Will Adam and Rahim get together in Sex Education season 4?

Signs were certainly pointing for Adam and Rahim to be the next ship that sailed in this Netflix original series as the two appeared to have left with a better understanding of one another after their many scenes together, including poop gate.

Following the hilarious occasion of the unsanitary sock, Rahim was able to learn that Adam wasn’t just some blockhead who had no emotions, and Adam was able to also learn a thing or two from Rahim, including how to properly channel his feelings for Eric in a poem. From face value, these two fellas seem to complement each other extremely well and may actually be one of the healthier relationships in the show should they get together.

While we have to wait a little longer to know if Adam and Rahim will set sail, we don’t have to wait too long to know which ship, unfortunately, won’t sail for now, which leads us to our fourth question.

Will Maeve return in Sex Education season 4?

Otis x Maeve shippers manifested this couple coming together since the beginning of the show, and to see their hard work pay off was certainly touching and rewarding. However, their work may have doubled, if not tripled, now that their favorite gal Maeve bid a somber adieu to Otis to go chase her dreams in America.

Without a doubt, this was one of the more positive moments of this season because it meant that Maeve finally gave herself a chance at becoming something bigger than her current self. Additionally, her applying to the program, accepting the help and actually boarding the bus to go to America meant that she matured a ton, and as it looks, returning to Moordale may be an undoing of all her progress. It is rather unfortunate, however, that Maeve Wiley could be leaving Otis behind after all.

But truth be told, a relationship with Maeve Wiley may prove to be the least of Otis’ concerns because his mother may have found herself in some scorching hot water that he may need to help her get out of.

Who is the father of Jean Milburn’s baby?

Our iconic mother certainly does not come without her flaws, but we were certainly surprised at the unexpected plot twist concerning her new daughter, Joy.

Making this the second of the two biggest cliffhangers of Sex Education season 3, the unknown results of Jean’s paternity test was where the third season ended. While we have speculated about this topic of Joy’s father before, we still can’t help but be floored by the potential of Jakob not being this newborn’s father.

If Jakob is the father, then it’s back to the blending of these two vastly different families. However, if he’s not, we fear that there may be no telling to the disappointment and the anger that Jakob, Ola and Otis may feel. We fear that Jean may have gone too far and her only chance at getting out of this predicament unscathed is keeping the secret to herself. Will she do this, or has she already accepted the consequences? We’ll know soon enough.

Our burning questions are still indeed burning, and we are looking forward to knowing whether or not these questions will be answered in the fourth season. We hope you are, too!

In the meantime, be sure to watch every season of Sex Education including the highly acclaimed third season streaming right now only on Netflix.
