Is Casper on Netflix for Halloween 2021?

The fun-filled heartfelt movie Casper is a remarkable movie to enjoy on Halloween with the entire family, and it’s no surprise that certain Netflix subscribers are curious to learn if it is available for them to enjoy this season.

Casper first arrived on the scene as a Harvey Comics cartoon character and then appeared into several other forms of media, including a big-screen feature in 1997 starring Christina Ricci and Bill Pullman. The exciting adventure full of heartwarming moments and side-splitting laughs follows an afterlife therapist and his daughter as they team up with the titular friendly spirit to rid a decrepit mansion of evil otherworldly beings.

At the time, Casper was revered for its VFX achievements, and overall, it was given significant praise by Roger Ebert, especially toward Ricci and Pullman’s performances. Knowing all of this makes it easy to understand why so many subscribers of the streaming service would be interested in matching this exceptional, friendly ghost flick this Halloween.

Is Casper on Netflix?

It would definitely be ideal if Netflix subscribers could enjoy the family-friendly feature on the streamer this hallowed. But unfortunately, Casper is not an option, and there doesn’t seem to be any immediate plans for that to change.

While this is not wonderful by any means, the streaming powerhouse does offer several other features to get one in the spirit of the spooky holiday.
