We finally got what we’ve all been waiting for: Chloe Decker (Lauren German) and Lucifer (Tom Ellis) are finally properly together! Their on-screen romance is sizzling, so much so that fans are questioning if the TV couple is also a couple off-screen too.

Unfortunately, Tom Ellis and Lauren German’s on-screen romance is just that, on-screen. In fact, the Lucifer Morningstar actor has been happily married to screenwriter and film producer, Meaghan Oppenheimer, since 2019.

Needless to say, the chemistry of the pair is undeniable but it could purely be down to the fact the stars are said to be “really good friends”.

The pair have also gone through a lot together, after all,  Lucifer was canceled by Fox in 2018 before Netflix swooped in to save the devilishly good show by picking it up for 10 episodes for its fourth season which premiered in May 2019. This was followed by a further 16 episodes, with the first eight of the fifth season dropping in August 2020 and the second half in May 2021, while the sixth season dropped only four months later.

German and Ellis have been working together for a long time (since 2016) so it’s no surprise the actors are such good friends.
