In September 2021, Netflix officially announced that the beloved anime series would be returning for a second installment, and you’ll be surprised to know that the upcoming season is coming to your screens much sooner than you may have initially thought!
The first season premiered back in April 2021 this year and left us throwing our heads backs in laughter as every episode proved to be as outrageously more hilarious than the previous one. Season 2 is also gearing up to be another season that will make us laugh out loud, but this time for many different (and obscure) reasons.

We may have a date to expect new episodes from the anime‘s second season, but, unfortunately, at the moment we don’t have a confirmed number of episodes. While we are expecting another five episodes or so for season 2, we’re going to have to wait until that October to know for sure. But no need to stress! We have much more information about what’s to come down below.

The voice cast that you’ve grown to know and love is set to return once more as everyone in the main cast will reprise their roles from the pilot season meaning Jujutsu Kaisen‘s Kenjirou Tsuda will return to voice Tatsu, Shizuka Itou will voice Miku, and Kazuyuki Okitsu will voice Masa once more.

In the second season, our ex-yakuza boss will continue his domestic life as a stay-at-home husband who loves his wife, cooks amazing meals, and steers his peers in the direction of life without violence. Of course, some don’t want him to let go of his esteemed gang member status, but once he cooks them a meal or two, they will definitely come around.
The second season will certainly be full of more laughter and moments that make us fall in love with Tatsu even more. Season 2 can’t come quick enough!
