Manifest season 4: Daryl Edwards will be back as Vance in series regular role

The cast of Manifest season 4 continues to round out as more key players lock in new deals for the final season on Netflix. Following the streamer’s announcement that Manifest had been saved, most of the main cast has signed on, and now that includes Daryl Edwards.

Of course, the main cast of Manifest season 4 is led by Josh Dallas and Melissa Roxburgh, who are joined by fellow main cast members J.R. Ramirez, Parveen Kaur, Luna Blaise and Holly Taylor. Athena Karkanis and Jack Messina will not return for season 4.

Additional guest and recurring players have yet to be announced to return, but fans should expect the core supporting cast members to return as their characters. While season 4 will also welcome a new series regular cast member to the fold, a familiar face has now been promoted.

According to a report from Deadline, Daryl Edwards has been upped from a recurring role to a series regular position, making his character, NSA Director Robert Vance, even more of an important piece of the series than ever before.

Daryl Edwards series regular in Manifest season 4

After appearing in all three seasons of Manifest as Robert Vance, season 4 marks Edwards’ first turn as a series regular on the beloved show. It’s the latest major cast promotion since Matt Long was upped in season 2 and Holly Taylor joined the cast in season 3.

Over the course of the series, Manifesters have come to love Vance, but they have come to love Daryl Edwards even more. In the first season, Vance was seemingly killed off until he returned in the second season after having faked his death.

We can’t wait to see what’s to come for Vance and Daryl Edwards in Manifest season 4 now that he’s officially a series regular, a much deserved promotion. Let’s be honest, can you picture Manifest without Vance? No, you can’t, and now you don’t have to!
