Ginny and Georgia season 2 is coming later in 2022 than expected

Ginny and Georgia season 2 has been on fans minds since its cliffhanger finale. Everyone wants to know what’s next for the strong-willed Ginny Miller and her secret filled mother, Georgia.

While star Antonia Gentry has shared some insights on the next leg of the story, from where Ginny could be headed to her evolving fashion sense, one thing we’ve been left in the dark about is when the show will return for its second season.

Netflix Life has been predicting that the Netflix original could make its season 2 debut in time for its premiere anniversary at the tail end of February or in early March. However, now that What’s On Netflix has reported that the series is looking at a production window of Nov. 29, 2021 – Apr. 8, 2022 for Ginny and Georgia season 2, that’s changed.

This news means the show’s sophomore season will premiere later in 2022 than fans hoped. Here’s when we could see season 2 make its land on Netflix.

Ginny and Georgia season 2 release date predictions

With a filming wrap date set for April, it’s likely Ginny and Georgia season 2 will be pushed into the summer of 2022. Late summer, unfortunately, as in August 2022 at the earliest if we put four months between when season 2 production wraps and its premiere.

If that’s the case, then Outer Banks fans are likely to see season 3 before Ginny and Georgia fans are returned to their show. Despite not being confirmed for a third season, the popular teen drama is rumored to also be a summer 2022 release for the streamer that’ll likely release in July.

However, if season 3 premieres in late July or even in August that will more than likely push Ginny and Georgia into the fall of 2022. With the size of Outer Banks‘ audience, it’s doubtful that Netflix would release the two shows close to one another.
