He’s All That has finally arrived on Netflix and is quickly climbing the charts as Netflix’s latest must-see rom-com of the summer!

In this gender-swapped remake of 1999’s classic She’s All That starring Rachael Leigh Cook and Freddie Prinze Jr. Addison Rae stars as Padgett, a social media influencer whose life is turned upside down after a breakup gone wrong.

With her reputation in danger, Padgett decides to accept a bet from her friend to give outcast Cameron, played by Cobra Kai star Tanner Buchanan, the ultimate makeover in turning him from outcast to prom king candidate. What Padgett doesn’t anticipate is to find herself falling for Cameron in the process and well, you’ll just have to watch to see how things play out!

On her journey to transforming Cameron, Padgett quickly thrusts Cameron into her world which includes a trip to a lavish karaoke party. Of course, this being a teen rom-com, the film’s central characters soon find themselves taking to the stage to perform an unexpected duet of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream.”

Musical performances are nothing new to teen rom-coms, but as we’ve seen with popular musical franchises such as High School Musical just because a character is singing on screen doesn’t mean the voice we hear belongs to the actors behind the character.

Is Addison Rae really singing in He’s All That?

That is indeed Addison Rae singing in He’s All That, as Rae is indeed a singer and has actually released a few singles already including her 2021 hit “Obsessed.” So when Rae’s character Padgett breaks out into song during the karaoke party scene, that is indeed Rae’s actual voice you’re hearing in the scene.

Is Tanner Buchanan really singing in He’s All That?

Much like his co-star, Tanner Buchanan is indeed singing in He’s All That and we have to admit we had no idea he had such an incredible voice! So when Cameron begins belting out into song, the voice you’re hearing is indeed that of Buchanan.
