Is Coyote Ugly on Netflix? Where to watch the movie online

If you tuned into Riverdale season 5, episode 13 “Chapter Eighty-Nine: Reservoir Dogs,” then you were in for a musical treat from The CW’s bonkers show that’s jumped the shark too many times to count. In an effort to honey trap the infamous Lonely Highway Killer, Betty, Tabitha, Veronica, and Cheryl decided to pay homage to the 2000s music comedy, Coyote Ugly.

Yes, that’s the bar dancing stomper that saw Piper Perabo starring as Violet Sanford, a singer-songwriter who ends up working at a bar and entertaining the clientele. Fully clothed, but exuding too hot to touch energy, Violet strutted her stuff at night, singing and dancing along with her co-workers, and earning an honest living in the city.

The job allowed the young artist to come into her own, develop her confidence, and grow into the woman she could see herself becoming even if her father didn’t approve of how she paid her bills. Coyote Ugly was the kind of movie that had, and still does, have young women scream-singing Leann Rimes’ “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” at the top of their lungs.
