It comes as no surprise that fans of Hit and Run are now searching for news on a potential season 2. The thriller series had so many twists and turns and ups and downs that ultimately ended with some questions not being answered. But of course, this is just a setup for Hit and Run season 2.

When Hit and Run debuted on Aug. 6 on Netflix, it didn’t take long for it to make the top 10 list. It was expected because the plot was just too good, and we knew that we would be in for a ride. I mean, it’s a crime drama about someone seeking revenge on the ones that broke apart his family.

Of course, with seeking revenge comes secrets rising to the surface, and those secrets may change the way you perceive someone. Who you thought you knew is not the person you fell in love with. This is what happens to Segev in Hit and Run, and the story just unravels and becomes deeper than how it started.

The Netflix original does end on a shocking cliffhanger so that the story can be continued. However, we’ve seen other TV shows end their seasons on cliffhangers and still get canceled, like Prodigal Son. So it’s all up to Netflix to finish out this crime thriller the right way. Is Hit and Run season 2 renewed or canceled? We tell you everything you need to know about a potential second season.

Is Hit and Run season 2 renewed?

At the time of writing, Hit and Run season 2 has not been confirmed by Netflix yet. Hold your horses! Netflix may not have renewed Hit and Run early like some of its other Netflix originals, but that’s not a cause for concern.

The streamer is known for waiting to see where the viewership numbers land before announcing a renewal. Even popular Netflix TV shows like Outer Banks haven’t been confirmed for a season 3, and their season 2 premiered on July 30.

We could possibly be looking at weeks or even months before we hear anything about a renewal for Hit and Run season 2. We’ll be sure to update you as soon as we hear about a season 2 renewal announcement.

Is Hit and Run season 2 canceled?

Even though Netflix hasn’t confirmed a Hit and Run season 2, they also haven’t canceled the crime thriller. So, that’s good news! It doesn’t look like the series is leaning toward a cancellation, but this is just our opinion.

Keep in mind that Lior Raz, who plays Segev in Hit and Run, already has good standing with Netflix because of his successful Netflix original FaudaFauda is currently streaming on Netflix and has multiple seasons.

Let’s hope that Hit and Run gets a multi-season run like the political thriller. While you wait for more information on Hit and Run season 2, rewatch season 1 and look for clues that you may have missed the first time you watched.
