Is Reservation Dogs on Netflix?

We have another teen TV show that we can add to our list called Reservation Dogs, and it reminds us of Netflix originals like On My Block and Outer Banks. The comedy TV series is about four Indigenous teenagers living in rural Oklahoma, doing whatever it takes (stealing, robbing and saving) to escape to California.

Reservation Dogs‘ main cast includes Devery Jacobs as Elora Danan Postoak, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai as Bear Smallhill, Paulina Alexis as Willie Jack and Lane Factor as Cheese. One of the things we like about Reservation Dogs is that most of the cast and crew are Indigenous.

Having Indigenous people tell Indigenous stories helps provide a positive representation of the Indigenous community and prevents stereotypes. And this teen comedy came just in time because we need more TV shows showing diversity and representation on our screens.

Reservation Dogs was released on Aug. 9 and is currently streaming. So where can we watch Reservation Dogs? Can we watch this comedy TV show on our favorite streaming service?

Is Reservation Dogs on Netflix?

I hate to break it to you, but you can not watch Reservation Dogs on Netflix. It most likely will never make its way to Netflix because the teen comedy has a deal with another streaming service.

As I mentioned earlier, Outer Banks and On My Block will give you similar feelings as Reservation Dogs, so try to check them out on Netflix. If those two teen shows aren’t your speed, you can check out Never Have I Ever on the streamer as well.

Where to watch Reservation Dogs

Seeing as though Reservation Dogs is an FX on Hulu exclusive, you can watch the teen comedy on Hulu if you have a subscription. However, if you are a new subscriber to Hulu, you can get a one-month free trial. If you’re only using the free trial to stream Reservation Dogs, make sure you cancel the trial before the month ends, or you’ll be charged.
