The cast includes some well-known actors such as Pig‘s Nicolas Cage as Hero, Modern Love‘s Sofia Boutella as Bernice, Bill Moseley as The Governor and Nick Cassavetes as Psycho. Prisoners of Ghostland is a movie about a bank robber (Hero) who is taken out of jail by a wealthy man (The Governor) to rescue his adopted granddaughter (Bernice) from a supernatural universe called the Ghostland. Hero is given five days to bring Bernice back to The Governor, or he’ll blow up because of the leather suit he’s forced to wear while on his quest.

The film is considered an action movie, but looking at the trailer, it seems to include comedic elements. And an action-comedy seems like a good movie to watch with family and/or friends.

Unfortunately, Prisoners of Ghostland is not available to stream on Netflix. To be completely honest, the action film isn’t even out yet. However, the film is distributed by RLJE Films, so maybe somewhere down the line, Netflix will strike a deal with them and get access to stream Prisoners of Ghostland on their streaming platform.

However, if you’re looking for a good action film, Netflix has everything you’re looking for and more. Netflix original movies Extraction, The Old Guard and 6 Underground are all great replacements and will still have you just as invested in their storylines as Prisoners of Ghostland.
