5 must-watch shows and movies on Netflix this week

The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf

If you love The Witcher universe, you’ll want to check out the animated movie. Sadly, it doesn’t include Henry Cavill, but it’s something to help you wait until December when The Witcher season 2 arrives.

The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf follows Vesemir, a young and cocky witcher who loves slaying monsters for coin. However, he soon learns that some witchering jobs are more about actually saving people and the land and not just about the coin he can earn.

Watch the animated movie on Monday, Aug. 23.

Clickbait

Like a good thriller? Want something that is slightly different to the norm? Clickbait is one of the shows and movies on Netflix for the week. It’s an Australian-American drama that focuses on Nick Brewer, who suddenly goes missing.

When he appears on a video beaten, the secrets start to come out. Once his video gets to 5m views, he’s going to be killed for the things he did. Can the cops find him before it’s too late?

Motel Makeover

When it comes to reality shows, Netflix has stepped up the game. The latest release is Motel Makeover, which does just as the title suggests.

Four years ago, two best friends took a dingy roadside motel and made it their business. Now they’re doing it again, and we get to see their motel makeover throughout the course of the show. Only this time, it’s on a much bigger scale.

Family Reunion

Need a comedy? Tia Mowry is back once more with Family Reunion. Part 4 is here, following more of the ups and downs of relocating from Seattle to Georgia.

The family is pretty much settled now. However, that doesn’t stop the hilarious moments with the extended family. This is not a show you want to miss out on.

He’s All That

The last of the shows and movies on Netflix to watch is a gender-flip rom-com. He’s All That is based on the She’s All That movie from the ’00s. This time, Addison Rae stars as the popular teenage girl who makes a bet with her friends to transform the loner kid at school into Prom King.

Of course, it’s a typical rom-com. Expect girl to fall for boy. Expect the secrets to come out. But will it end the way they all do? That’s something worth watching to find out.

Watch the movie on Friday, Aug. 27.
