While trapped underground in the manor’s mineshaft with Dominique, Alexis revealed a long-kept secret about one of her children. But she wasn’t talking about Adam, Steven or Fallon. In fact, as she tells Dom, she had a daughter with her yoga instructor years ago while in Europe.

Of course, that daughter is none other than Amanda Carrington, who was played by Catherine Oxenberg in the original 1980s series. TV Line reports that the new Amanda has been cast, and she will soon make her debut on Dynasty season 4. But who plays her?

Amanda Carrington will be played by former Sweet/Vicious star Eliza Bennett, who headlined the aforementioned fan-favorite MTV dark comedy series for its first and only season. The 29-year-old English actress has appeared in a number of movies and shows such as Broadchurch, This Is Us and The Conners.

According to The CW, Eliza Bennett kicks off her role as Amanda in Dynasty season 4, episode 16, which is titled “The British Are Coming.” Bennett will be featured in the remaining episodes of the fourth season and join the cast as a series regular in season 5.

Currently, we don’t know much about Bennett’s iteration of the character, but TV Line describes the character as a pot stirrer. She arrives at Carrington manor full of secrets from the Carrington past that can and will shake up the already fragile dynamics of the family.

Fallon will no doubt have the greatest reaction to the arrival of Amanda and the revelation that she has another long-lost sibling. Don’t forget, she’s already weathered the wounds that Steven is her half-brother and Adam appeared as her weird older brother out of thin air.
