Will there be a Vivo 2?

It’s been some time since Vivo was released on Netflix, so you should’ve already seen the animated musical comedy-drama film by now. If not, you may want to set out some time to watch it because it’s ranked No. 3 on Netflix’s top 10 list and has been on the list for a while now.

Vivo is about a rainforest honey bear (Vivo) who sets out on a journey to deliver a love song written by his owner (Andrés) to his long-lost love Marta Sandoval. With the help of Andrés’s relative (Gabi), Vivo stops at nothing to deliver this letter.

The voice cast is composed of skilled actors such as Lin-Manuel Miranda as Vivo, Zoe Saldana as Rosa, Ynairaly Simo as Gabi, Juan de Marcos González as Andrés, Gloria Estefan as Marta and many others.

Rotten Tomatoes has even given Vivo a score of 86%. Now tell me that isn’t a must-watch Netflix movie! The kids’ movie is such an enjoyable film that families all over are hoping for a Vivo 2. Well, we’re going to tell you all that we know about a possible sequel.

Is there going to be a Vivo 2?

Currently, Netflix has not confirmed if there will be a Vivo 2. However, Vivo is doing well on the streamer, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Netflix announces a sequel soon. We’ll keep you updated as more information about a possible Vivo 2 comes out.

Vivo 2 expected release date

If Netflix confirms a Vivo 2 and the production process begins in 2021, we should expect the sequel to release on Netflix sometime in next couple years. But of course, it could be released sooner. It all depends on how long it takes. We don’t want to rush the process because we want Vivo 2 to be just as good as Vivo.
