Is Ozark season 4 done filming?

Fans of the Netflix original series Ozark are waiting for any news regarding a release date for the fourth and final season. The season began production in October 2020, which was exciting news, giving fans hope that an Ozark season 4 release date would be seen in 2021.

Season 3 of Ozark was released on March 27, 2020, but it honestly seems much longer. The third season brought about many more challenges and lots of surprises. Ozark season 3 was by far the best, and fans have high hopes for the final season.

Stranger Things and Ozark are two of Netflix’s most popular original series. Both series are heading into their fourth seasons, and much is expected of both.

Is Ozark season 4 done filming?

As of August 2021, Ozark season 4 hasn’t completed filming. Variety Insight has a shoot date until Oct. 8, 2021, and as recently as July, the series was filming in Atlanta.  This doesn’t bode well for a 2021 release date for this season. The fourth season will consist of 14 episodes that will release in two parts.

Netflix hasn’t released any news regarding anything for 2021 regarding this series. So, as sad as it is, we will most likely have to wait until 2022 to catch up with the Byrdes and what is going on at the Lake of the Ozarks.

The fourth season will see the return of Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Julia Garner, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Charlie Tahan, Jessica Frances Dukes, Lisa Emery, John Bedford Lloyd and Joseph Sikora.

Season 4 will see Alfonso Herrera, Adam Rothberg, Felix Solis and Damian Young as series regulars, and new additions to the cast include Bruno Bichir, CC Castillo, Katrina Lenk, Veronica Falcón and Killer Mike.

Ozark is bound to bring more excitement in its final season whenever it is able to release. For now, we will have to be content with rewatching season 1-3 on Netflix.
