Do Elle and Marco get together in The Kissing Booth 3?

Throughout The Kissing Booth movies on Netflix, it certainly seems like protagonist Elle Evans (Joey King) and her boyfriend Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi) are endgame. Yes, they do go through their fair share of conflicts, as most couples do when they’re teenagers, but given the romantic comedy formula, I don’t think anyone would be shocked to see them ending up together in the final movie. Well, The Kissing Booth 3 is out today, and it looks like Elle might have more temptation in the film than we were expecting.

Fans of the series will remember Marco Peña (Taylor Zakhar Perez), a new character in The Kissing Booth 2 who strikes up an extreme flirtation with Elle. Their relationship comes to a head when they kiss — while Elle and Noah are dating — throwing a wrench into what Elle has with her boyfriend. It’s a low point for Elle, but she does seemingly learn from it, and by the end of the second movie she’s in a better place with Noah.

But by The Kissing Booth 3, things become tense again for Elle and Noah when Marco makes his surprise return into Elle’s life.

Spoilers ahead for The Kissing Booth 3.

The majority of the third movie takes place at the Flynn beach house, where Elle and Noah are staying along with Lee Flynn (Joel Courtney) and his girlfriend Rachel (Meganne Young). Elle gets a job waitressing in the area, and is shocked one day to see Marco and his family dining at the restaurant. Marco explains that he got a job at the local waterpark, meaning Elle would be seeing a lot more of him.

When Elle tells Noah that she saw Marco and that he would be helping out with a bucket list activity at the waterpark, Noah is understandably a little nervous. Though he says he trusts Elle, the hurt is still there from when Elle kissed Marco.

Do Elle and Marco kiss in The Kissing Booth 3?

Although Noah is right in saying Marco wants to get together with Elle, fortunately they do not kiss in this movie. It seems as though Elle is tempted when Marco comforts her, but ultimately she is not involved with him romantically at all in this movie. She doesn’t kiss him and they do not get together.

So who does Elle end up with? Would it be Noah by default? Well, actually, it appears that Elle is single at the end of The Kissing Booth 3. There’s a time jump in the final scene, showing Elle, Noah, Lee, and Rachel all grown up and starting their professional lives. Though Lee and Rachel are engaged, Elle and Noah hadn’t seen each other in a long time.

Elle and Noah catch up, and while there’s a bit of flirtation between them, they go their separate ways in the final moments of the movie. Both of them are single at the conclusion.

In the end, it’s probably best for Elle to be single while she’s finding herself and beginning her career. Neither Noah nor Marco is a good option for her when going off to college, as evidenced by the movie’s ending. However, we wouldn’t be surprised if Elle and Noah started dating again sometime after their reunion.

Unfortunately, The Kissing Booth 3 is the final movie in the series, meaning we won’t get to see what happens next for Elle. I think it’s safe to assume, however, she wouldn’t end up with Marco.
