It’s no secret that in the past month, the canceled NBC series Manifest has become something of a behemoth on Netflix. The first two seasons debuted on Netflix and kept the series in the Top 10, and the peak of the ranking, for a near-record breaking tenure. But we’re still waiting for Manifest season 3 to touch down on Netflix.
In the wake of cancellation, the series has found a second wind of fan support as new Manifesters joined Flight 828 and helped the efforts to #SaveManifest. Much of that fan support can be credited to the show’s streaming success on Netflix, something we hope continues with Manifest season 3.
While Netflix subscribers are still hoping to get their eyes on Manifest season 3 and see how the series comes to an end (for now), we may still have a bit more waiting to do until the third season joins the first two seasons. But how much longer will we have to wait?
Unfortunately, Netflix announced its complete list of new release movies and shows for August, and the cult favorite missing plane drama wasn’t among them.
Manifest season 3 Netflix release date
Even though Manifest season 3 wasn’t among the new release titles hitting Netflix in August, that doesn’t mean catching the season on Netflix this month is completely off the table. Netflix typically announces new releases well ahead of time, but for the first two seasons of Manifest and fellow NBC series Chicago Med, the streamer hardly gave us 24 hours notice.
Currently, Manifest season 3 isn’t on our radar for August releases, but you never know what the immediate future holds. The season could come as late as April 2022, though we’ll continue cross our fingers. Season 3 is available to stream on Hulu, NBC.com and Peacock.
However, the future is starting to look bright for Manifest, as NBC and Netflix have re-entered talks to un-cancel the series amid its recent wave of success and fan demand. Whether that amounts to season 4 (or more) on NBC or Netflix remains to be seen, so keep streaming!
Stay tuned for more Manifest news and updates from Netflix Life.
