Since the Twilight movies were released, Stephanie Meyer, the author of the original series, published another Twilight book, Midnight Sun, which tells the story from Edward’s perspective, and fans want to know if there’s a Midnight Sun Twilight movie on Netflix. The other books tell the story from Bella’s perspective.

Is the Midnight Sun Twilight movie on Netflix?

We have some bad news to share. At this time, there is no Midnight Sun Twilight movie on Netflix. That might be confusing for fans!

There is a Midnight Sun movie, but sadly, it has nothing to do with Twilight. Midnight Sun is a romantic drama and it stars Bella Thorne, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Rob Riggle. It tells the story of a teen with a disease that forces them to stay out of the sunlight.

So, you can watch all five Twilight movies and Midnight Sun on Netflix, but it’s not the Midnight Sun that Twilight fans want.

Will a Midnight Sun Twilight movie happen?

There were rumors earlier this year that Midnight Sun was in the works at Netflix. That does not appear to be true. We couldn’t confirm the source of the rumor, and Netflix has not announced anything about a Midnight Sun movie.

Most likely, someone got confused with Netflix releasing Midnight Sun, the movie we talked about above, and mistakenly thought that meant Netflix was making the Midnight Sun Twilight movie.

As of right now, there don’t appear to be any plans to make the Midnight Sun Twilight movie. We’ll let you know if that changes in the future.

Midnight Sun Twilight movie release date

At this time, there are no official plans for a Midnight Sun Twilight movie. If that changes in the future, we could see a movie within two years of the start of development. That’s a pretty quick turnaround, but this would be a big deal, and I’m sure the studio will want to release it quickly.

Right now, the earliest we could see a Midnight Sun Twilight movie would be in 2023 or 2024.
