Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans is coming to Netflix: July 21, 2021
The Tales of Arcadia series is coming to a close with the Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans movie. We were left with a big cliffhanger, which will be answered soon when it comes to Netflix.
Tales of Arcadia is a trilogy, episodic series created by Guillermo del Toro. The original plan was for the story to wrap up with the trilogy, but then we got news that a movie was in the works — Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans. This movie will be an epic conclusion to the magical show.
There’s a lot to look forward to! All the heroes from the series — Trollhunters, 3Below and Wizards — will band together. Not all of them have crossed paths before, but in this movie they’ll all meet to save the world. Just another typical day for heroes!

What is Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans about?
As I mentioned, this movie will be the conclusion to the 88-episode trilogy series. The Netflix synopsis reads:
"Heroes from Trollhunters, 3Below, and Wizards join forces to fight a shadowy enemy threatening to take over their worlds – and reset Earth itself."

It looks so exciting, right!? If the first three parts are anything to go by, my expectations are really high for this movie. The story and visuals have always been top notch.
You definitely need to watch the trilogy series to understand what’s going to happen in the movie, especially Wizards. The last episode of Wizards ended with Douxie (voiced by Colin O’Donoghue) taking Nari (voiced by Angel Lin) away to hide from the Arcane Order.
Where did we leave off?
As a quick refresher, here’s where we left off in the Wizards finale. The Arcane Order is a trio of primordial demigods: Bellroc, Skrael and Nari. They wanted to maintain the balance between magic and mortals. Eventually, Bellroc and Skrael lost faith in the balance and now want to destroy both worlds to remake as their own with the Genesis Seals.
Their sister Nari doesn’t want to be a part of this and left her siblings, which doesn’t work for Skrael and Bellroc because they can’t activate the seals without her. That’s why she and Douxie go into hiding.
But at the end of Wizards, we see Bellroc watching them from the top of a building as they walk down the street. Her siblings have found them, and they’re going to need to call in some reinforcements!
No pressure for our heroes, right? They certainly will have their work cut out for them. I know we’re about to embark on an epic adventure and get a wonderful conclusion to this story!
