The Cook of Castamar synopsis

Following the loss of his wife, Diego de Castamar must find another lover to marry for the sake of his country’s future. The Duke meets numerous eligible bachelorettes, all looking for his hand in marriage, but his attention is affixed on Clara Belmonte, the cook responsible for the best meal he’s had during his difficult time.

Scandals and betrayals arise as the Duke tries to choose between his duty and his heart, however, his decision may not be up to him as outside forces meddle with both his personal and interpersonal affairs. More on the official synopsis via Netflix, down below:

The cast of The Cook of Castamar features Roberto Enriquez as Diego de Castamar, Michelle Jenner as Clara Belmonte, Maria Hervas as Amelia Castro, Fiorella Faltoyano as Dona Mercedes, and Brigada Costa del Sol actor Hugo Silva as Enrique de Arcona.
