The new docuseries from Banger Films (Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey), This is Pop, takes a deep dive into elements behind the pop music genre, enlightening the viewers with many different views of the industry.

Pop music is often criticized for being overrated, but the music has impacted our culture in many ways that people. The Netflix original series will take a many angled look into the songs that, like it or not, have shaped us.

The eight-part series tackles subjects like auto-tune, pop country, Britpop, music festivals, and the first episode will bring back some 90s nostalgia by focusing on Boyz II Men. The first episode looks at B2M and their rise to fame with their stellar harmonies that sparked the boy band rage.
