Good Girls canceled after four seasons on NBC: Will Netflix save the show?

Good Girls is one of the most popular TV shows on Netflix. New seasons are added to the streaming service about a year after they premiere on NBC, and fans love to watch the series on the streaming service.

It’s even on the list of the best Netflix shows to watch right now!

Unfortunately, Good Girls, which just wrapped its fourth season, doesn’t perform as well on NBC as it does on Netflix. And, the show has been on the chopping block for some time.

For those still holding out hope that Good Girls season 5, we have some very bad news to share.

Is Good Girls canceled?

Good Girls has been canceled on NBC, according to a report from TV Line. The series will end after four seasons, and there will be no fifth season, resolution, conclusion, or finale for the TV series.

It’s always a bad day when this stuff happens. We’ve seen a lot of shows getting canceled recently after the interrupted year and change of TV during the pandemic. Manifest and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist have been canceled on NBC recently.

Each time, fans start to wonder if Netflix will save the series. Netflix has passed on both Manifest and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, but could the streaming network save Good Girls and renew the series for a fifth season?

Will Netflix save Good Girls?

Unfortunately, TV Line is also reporting that Netflix will not be saving Good Girls. In fact, no other network or streaming network will have a crack at saving Good Girls. 

We have been thinking that if any show would be saved by Netflix this season, it would be Good Girls. The show performs very well on the platform, and it’s always one of the most popular additions whenever new seasons drop.

Netflix would surely take a look at saving the series, we thought. Perhaps, that has already happened. It’s unclear why Netflix doesn’t have a chance to save Good Girls, but that’s what’s happening right now.

We’re so sorry that fans will have to move on without an ending. You will, however, be able to watch all four seasons on Netflix soon.

The first three seasons of Good Girls are streaming on Netflix right now. The fourth season is coming to Netflix in early 2022.
