When it comes to teen romantic comedies, or just romantic comedies in general, some of the best hail from the late ’90s. She’s All That was such an impactful teen rom-com in its time, later becoming a cult classic among millennials, that Netflix is releasing a remake this summer.

But before we can catch the gender-swapped remake of the 1999 hit teen romantic comedy, it’s all about She’s All That. Freddie Prinze Jr. stars as popular jock Zack Siler, who’s so confident in his social standing that he proclaims he can turn any girl in school into the next prom queen.

Zack’s boastful bet brings him to unpopular wallflower Laney Boggs (Rachael Leigh Cook), an artist resistant to Zack’s charms. Nonetheless, the mismatched pair enter each other’s worlds and seemingly bridge the gap between their differing lives until the truth comes out.

Ahead of the release of He’s All That this August, which also stars Cook in a new role as the lead’s mother, fans will naturally wonder whether the original is streaming on Netflix as a companion to the new kid on the block. Here’s what you need to know to watch She’s All That.

Is She’s All That on Netflix?

As of this writing in June 2021, She’s All That is not available to watch on Netflix. Now, the hit teen rom-com has streamed on Netflix in the past, which makes its chances for returning sometime in the future rather fair. Perhaps the movie could return in July or August 2021 leading up to the remake’s release.

Currently, She’s All That doesn’t appear to be available to watch on any major streaming service, though the film can always be rented or purchased on platforms like Prime Video and Apple. Make sure to stay on the lookout for the Freddie Prinze Jr. classic.

But it’s not all bad news! If you’re in the market for a teen romantic comedy of the same era, Netflix offers titles such as What a Girl Wants starring Amanda Bynes and The Prince & Me starring Julie Stiles. There’s plenty more Netflix original teen movies where those came from, too!
