Rick and Morty season 5 is here! Fans of the time traveling comedy are sure to be excited to be going on yet more adventures with the multiverse hopping duo.

Season 5 premiered on Adult Swim on Sunday, June 20 with “Mort Dinner Rick Andre,” an episode that sees Rick hosting a dinner for his nemesis. Morty has been tasked with fetching the wine for the occasion. It’s a simple premise for what’s sure to be a bonkers event.

The season will air Sundays at 11 p.m. ET on Adult Swim, though according to GamesRadar, there’s yet to be confirmation on whether its fifth season run will be interrupted by a midseason break. Only the first three episodes have confirmed release dates.

Cable fans of the show will likely have an easier time watching the season in comparison to fans who stream the series. Here’s what we know about where to watch Rick and Morty season 5 online.

Where to stream Rick and Morty season 5

The fifth season can be streamed on AdultSwim.com, but viewers will need a cable log-in to view episodes of the new season. While HBO Max and Hulu are home to seasons 1-4 of the series, neither platform will have the new episodes any time soon.

Observer notes it took about 6 months for season 4 to land on the streamers after it finished airing. However, Youtube TV, Hulu + Live TV, and Sling TV subscribers will have live access to new episodes as they air.

Rick and Morty season 5 release date on Netflix

While some regions will have new season 5 episodes available for next-day viewing on Netflix, the US doesn’t fall within that licensing agreement.

Currently, the series doesn’t have a home at all on the US version of the platform. As such, it’s unlikely Rick and Morty season 5 will be making its way to the streamer.

We’ll keep you posted on Rick and Morty release date on Netflix news as it comes in.
