The beautifully animated fantasy-comedy drama feature Luca has finally surfaced, and many subscribers are curious to know if the family-friendly endeavor is available on Netflix.

The film had its official premiere at the Aquarium of Genoa on June 13, 2021, and ever since then, the exceptional feature has been receiving all kinds of critical acclaim, solidifying the Disney Pixar movie as a must-watch endeavor fan of the genre as well as great animation should definitely not miss out on!

Luca’s storyline takes place between the 1950s and 60s in the Italian Riviera, where a young sea monster with the power to transform into a human on dry land meets a human boy named Alberto. They become friends and embark on a life-changing summer.

The cast that brings this excellent narrative to life is Jacob Tremblay, who fans will know from his work on Room and Doctor Sleep. Also starring in Luca is Jack Dylan Grazer, who fans know from Shazam! and It! Rounding out the ensemble of voice acting talent is Maya Rudolph, Jim Gaffigan, Peter Sohn, Sacha Baron Cohen, Marina Massironi, and Sandy Martin.

From the stellar animation to the exemplary story, there are few reasons not to want to see Luca, and it’s really not news that Netflix subscribers want to know if it’s available to enjoy on the streaming service.

Is Luca available on Netflix?

Fans do not need to search the seven seas or travel to the depths of the deep to figure out the mystery as to whether or not Luca is available to stream on Netflix. Unfortunately, the well-crafted, visually stunning family motion picture is not one of the many stellar options available on the popular streamer.

While this will definitely leave many readers looking forward to experiencing Luca feeling all washed up and soggy, there is one crucial fact to remember before setting sail on the popular streaming service. Netflix has so many other terrific options when it comes to family-friendly features of the animate variety, including The Mitchells vs. the Machines, Over the Moon, The Willoughbys, and Wish Dragon.
