Lost in Space was one of the big Netflix shows of 2019. The second season premiered around Christmastime, and fans are excited to see what’s next in Lost in Space season 3.

Unfortunately, we’ve had to wait quite a long time to see the new season, and it hasn’t been released yet. While fans wanted to see the new season in 2020, we always knew it would be 2021 before we’d see Lost in Space season 3.

Lost in Space season 3 has wrapped production as of July 2021. In October, Netflix announced Lost in Space season 3 2 on Dec. 1, 2021. 

Fans are also asking: Will there be a Lost in Space season 4?

Sadly, the answer to that question is no. Lost in Space season 3 will also be the final season of the Netflix original series. It sounds like the series was always planned to be three seasons, so that’s reassuring. It’s not as if Netflix is canceling the series early. We can’t confirm that, but it appears that way.
