When is the next season of Outer Banks?

It’s hard to believe it’s been over a year since we first met John B and the Outer Banks gang or that we’ve had to wait so long for resolution to season 1’s many cliffhangers!

Will John B and Sarah be able to clear his name after Ward framed him for murder, making him the most wanted man in the Outer Bank? Can the Pogues recover the treasure they found which was stolen from under their noses? How will the show follow up its episode season 1 treasure hunt?

Needless to say, there are a lot of questions on the minds of Outer Banks fans, but none more pressing than those about the show’s future!

Will there be another season of Outer Banks?

Considering how many cliffhangers and storylines were left unresolved when season 1 came to an end, fans are eager to know whether Outer Banks season 2 is happening. Fortunately, fans can rest assured knowing Netflix indeed has another season of its breakout drama coming. That’s right, another season of Outer Banks is on the way!

In July 2020, Netflix announced it had renewed the series for a second season which will be coming this year!

When does the next season of Outer Banks come out?

After more than a year since season 1 debuted in April 2020, Outer Banks season 2 is finally coming to Netflix this July. That’s right, Netflix has announced the second season of the breakout drama will debut Friday, July 30, 2021.

The show’s July return date was welcomed news to fans and came earlier than anticipated, as it was previously looking as though we’d have to wait until August for the new season’s release. It also will give fans something to look forward to at the end of what is shaping up to be quite a busy month for the streaming powerhouse.

This is because, in addition to Outer Banks season 2, July will also see the arrival of new seasons of Virgin River and Never Have I Ever as well as the Fear Street trilogy of films!
