Teen movies on Netflix: Flipped

Flipped is a romcom drama, based on the book of the same name by Wendelin Van Draanen. The film, set in the late ’50s and early ’60s, tells the story of Bryce Loski and Julianna Baker.

The two have been next-door neighbors since elementary school but while Juli immediately took to Bryce, he avoided her at all costs. In middle school, the situation is much the same until Bryce begins to develop unexpected feelings for Juli. It makes him question everything he once thought about her.

His growing feelings, however, doesn’t change their strained relationship. Though Bryce is likely to find that actually talking to Juli could open his eyes to what he’s been missing out on all these years.

Flipped will be available to stream on June 1.
