Lucifer season 5 part 2 has finally arrived and boy what a rollercoaster ride it was! From the very first scene, we could tell we were in for an unforgettable season and the writers did not disappoint in delivering a season full of emotional highs and lows.

The season truly had everything we wanted and more. As hinted at in the Lucifer season 5 part 1 finale, God’s arrival played a major role in the second half of the season allowing the writers to explore the pair’s complicated relationship in a beautiful way.

Deckerstar took somewhat of a back seat to Lucifer’s family drama, but there were plenty of incredible moments between Lucifer and Chloe throughout the course of the season — and let’s not even get started about the stunning moment shared between the couple in the final moments of the season!

We also witnessed the beautiful story of Maze’s journey in finding both love and happiness across the season, including her long-awaited reconciliation with Eve! Seriously, can we please get a Maze and Eve spinoff once Lucifer ends?!

The season also brought some sweet moments between Linda and Amenadiel, introduced fans to more of Lucifer and Amenadiel’s siblings, set Ella on a path to what we hope will be her happy ending, and delivered plenty of hilarious moments including countless one-liners and quips we laugh at just thinking about now.

While the episodes were filled with many uplifting and lighter moments, the season was not without its darker moments which is fitting for Lucifer. After all, there is no light without dark and there were some truly dark moments this season in the form of several shocking deaths.

Does Remiel die in Lucifer season 5 part 2?

One of the season’s most shocking deaths came in the season finale with the death of Lucifer’s sister, Remiel. Although she first had her doubts about Lucifer becoming the new God, Remiel ultimately came around and decided to help Lucifer by spying on Michael. This move proved to be a deadly one as Michael killed Remiel in episode 16 with the flaming sword after discovering her betrayal.

Does Dan die in Lucifer season 5 part 2?

Technically speaking, Dan dies twice in Lucifer season 5 part 2. The first “death” occurs in season 5 episode 11 when Dan bumps into God. After apologizing for sleeping with his wife, God grips Dan’s hand so hard that he literally explodes leaving us to think Dan had just been killed. However, just as fast as the moment occurred, Dan blinked back into existence with God’s actions reversed.

Unfortunately, Dan would later be killed for real when in episode 15 he was abducted and killed by a dangerous criminal as part of a scheme we later would learn was orchestrated by Michael. As we discovered, Michael arranged for Dan to be murdered in order to make Chloe feel so guilty she’d go to Hell due to the guilt felt for her role in Dan’s death.

While it was teased ahead of part 2’s arrival that the season would feature a major death, nothing quite prepared us for Dan’s death in episode 15 and the gutwrenching scenes which would follow such as when Trixie learned of her dad’s death.

Does Maze die in Lucifer season 5 part 2?

In Lucifer season 5 part 2, episode 12, “Daniel Espinoza: Naked and Afraid,” Maze appears to sacrifice her life in order to save Dan during a heated shootout with rivaling factors of criminals. The keyword being appears, as it turned out the whole shootout was staged by Lucifer as part of an epic prank. As such, Maze escaped unscathed and did, in fact, not die saving Dan’s life.

Does Chloe die in Lucifer season 5 part 2?

When it comes to Lucifer season 5 part 2’s biggest deaths, there is no denying that the biggest death in the season came when Chloe was murdered at the hands of Michael in the season 5 finale.

During the final battle between Michael and Lucifer, Michael decided to play dirty — of course — and killed Chloe right in front of Lucifer’s eyes. Technically speaking, Chloe did in fact die in the season 5 finale. However, Lucifer decided to risk his own life by going to Heaven and bringing Chloe back home safely using the immortality ring Maze’s mother had gifted to her.

Because of Lucifer’s actions, Chloe’s life was spared and he managed to seemingly prove himself worthy of becoming the new God in the process by making the ultimate sacrifice for love.
