Over the course of Lucifer‘s five seasons, we’ve had the chance to enjoy musical performances from several members of the cast including Tom Ellis and Lesley-Ann Brandt. However, in the show’s fifth season we finally get the chance to hear some of the other members from the cast show off their musical chops including Scarlett Estevez.

During the long-anticipated musical hour, “Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam,” Lucifer and those around him find their inner thoughts coming out as musical numbers thanks to some hijinks from God.

Among those who perform during the episode is Trixie who performs an emotional rendition of an iconic Nat King Cole song. It’s one of the musical episode’s most touching moments and was an incredible performance by the young actress, but is Scarlett Estevez really singing in the episode?

Much like her fellow cast members, Scarlett Estevez is indeed singing for real in the Lucifer musical episode. That’s right, the voice you hear when Trixie sings is indeed the voice of Estevez who performed her own musical number in “Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam.”

Also like most of the cast, Scarlett Estevez only performs one song during the Lucifer musical episode. Rather than performing as part of a duet, Estevez was allowed to showcase her vocal talents with a solo performance of “Smile” by Nat King Cole.
