When the Netflix original series Master of None first premiered, it quickly became loved by many as the series beautifully navigated topics such as race, sexuality, and relationships.

With the show quickly rising to popularity and receiving tons of critical acclaim for its riveting stories, it’s no wonder that the series went on to garner numerous accolades including an Emmy Award win for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series in its two seasons.

The third season of the Netflix series, titled Master of None: Moments in Love,  premiered yesterday and is already doing extremely well amongst critics, currently standing at 80% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Everything seems to be going smoothly, so could a fourth season be in store for fans of the show, or is it time to say goodbye?

Will there be a season 4 of Master of None?

Unfortunately, there will not be a fourth season of Master of None, as it was announced that the third season would serve as a farewell for the series.

It’s a bit unclear why the series starring Aziz Ansari and Lena Waithe met an early end despite it being a fan favorite, but perhaps, we will get an answer in the near future or some sort of a spin-off that explains everything. (Hopefully.)

Until then, we’ll most likely never see get to see how Dev’s relationship with Francesca ends or if Dev figures out his purpose in life. While this may come as somber news, we’re thankful to at least have one more season to give the show a proper send-off.

Master of None season 3 is currently streaming only on Netflix, and you can also watch the first two seasons of the original series to relive all the best moments.
