Futurama is a beloved long-running animated sitcom up there with The Simpsons as one of the best. Given that a Futurama revival just started airing on July 24, it’s understandable that fans of the show are looking into where they can revisit the series. Is Futurama on Netflix?

The sci-fi animated genre is getting pretty stacked these days. Shows like Star Trek: Lower Decks, Final Space, and Rick and Morty have made a big impact, but one title paved the way for these heavy hitters. Futurama from The Simpsons creator Matt Groening entertained fans for seven incredible seasons, and now we’re getting an eighth! That means there are over 140 episodes for fans to enjoy.

Futurama follows the characters Fry, Bender, Leela, and the rest of the gang at Planet Express, an interstellar delivery service, and chronicles their misadventures. Whether it’s visiting far corners of the cosmos, time travel, or interdimensional shenanigans, there is never a dull moment when Futurama is on the small screen.

Is Futurama available on Netflix?

The news as to whether or not Futurama is available on Netflix is the furthest thing from stellar and will bum subscribers out on an intergalactic level. The hit animated comedy series is unavailable within the streaming service’s impressive library.

But subscribers shouldn’t panic, and they will not have to venture to the far corners of the galaxy to find other wickedly funny cartoons. Netflix has many side-splitting options, including Big Mouth, Disenchantment, Paradise PD, Inside Job, Human Resources, and many more.

Where you can stream Futurama and the Futurama reboot

Those that do want to check out what Futurama has to offer in its entirety should make their way over to Hulu, where every episode is available to stream for subscribers to the Disney-owned service.

That includes the revival season, which is airing now on Hulu. The first episode of the new season was released on July 24. New episodes will continue to drop on Mondays through September 25. Then the second half of the season, also featuring ten episodes, will start airing at a later date.

For those who prefer to buy their shows, Futurama is also available on most VOD platforms out there, such as iTunes and Amazon Video.
