It’s official! Elite season 4 is happening at Netflix!
According to a report from TV Line in May 2020, Netflix confirmed Elite has been renewed for season 4, although the fourth season renewal was reported months ago.
Elite season 3 premiered on Netflix in March, and again, it was a major hit for the streaming network. Elite remains one of the most popular Netflix originals around the world.
The renewal news was announced on Twitter.

Elite season 4 release date on Netflix
Netflix did not share the Elite season 4 release date in the renewal announcement, but we finally did get confirmation of when the new season is coming out.
So, when is Elite season 4 coming to Netflix? Mark your calendars for June 18, 2021!
The third season was released in March of 2020, and considering the COVID-19 pandemic pushed back productions and release dates for movies and shows around the world, we’ll consider ourselves lucky that the fourth season is coming so soon. Filming reportedly began in August 2020 for season 4 and had to be suspended after someone on set tested positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, they were able to pick back up again soon after.
Elite season 4 cast
We are going to be seeing a whole bunch of new actors in Elite season 4. And, unfortunately, some of the cast from the first, second and third seasons will be leaving the series for season 4.
Ester Expósito, Mina El Hammani, Danna Paola, Álvaro Rico, and Jorge López will be leaving the series and not returning for season 4. That’s the bad news.
The good news is that many of the fan favorites from the first three seasons will remain, including Itzan Escamilla, Miguel Bernardeau, Omar Shana, Claudia Salas, Arón Piper, and Georgina Amorós, according to Popbuzz.
We’re also going to be meeting a whole bunch of new students, and I’m sure they’ll be bringing a whole bunch of baggage and drama to the fourth season.

Per Deadline, here’s the synopsis for Elite season 4:
Season 4 picks up with a new school year at Las Encinas, as well as a new director (Diego Martin): one of the most powerful businessmen in Europe, ready to bring the Las Encinas institution, which, according to him, has been running amok in the past few years, back on track. He brings his three children with him (Carla Díaz, Martina Cariddi, Manu Rios): three teenagers too used to always get their own way, and to have what they want when they want, no matter who falls, and who will jeopardize the union and strong friendship of the students who have stayed at the school.
Is Elite season 5 happening at Netflix?
Elite season 5 has been confirmed to be in the works! Because the fourth season hasn’t come out yet, we don’t know much about season 5 at this time.
