When is OBX season 2 coming out?

We have some great news to share about the OBX season 2 release date on Netflix! Outer Banks will be on Netflix this month!

OBX season 2, also known as Outer Banks season 2, is coming to Netflix very soon! No, it’s not canceled.

Production wrapped this spring on OBX season 2. There was a little confusion because it was reported that filming wrapped in January 2021, which meant that we could see the new season sometime this summer, like possibly July. Filming didn’t wrap until April.

Now, we know exactly when we’ll see the new season on Netflix.

After weeks of hearing rumors that Outer Banks season 2 was coming out sometime this summer, Netflix confirmed those rumors.

Outer Banks season 2 will be released on Netflix on Friday, July 30, 2021.

This is the perfect time to release the new season! Everyone wants to enjoy this show during the summer, and Outer Banks season 2 is officially the Netflix show of the summer.

It’s been a minute since we’ve seen these characters, so let’s take a look at where things ended in season 1. Obviously, John B and Sarah are headed to the Caribbean to steal the gold that Ward stole from them. Everyone thinks they are dead after the authorities chased them into the open ocean during the storm.
