Is Crash Landing on You season 2 happening?

If you’ve watched Crash Landing on You, you might have shed at least 16 buckets of tears, each bucket for each heart-warming and heartbreaking episode. (Just remembered the final scene, make that 17 buckets.)

The series was loved by many viewers. Iteven scored an 8.7 out of 10 on IMDb and an almost perfect audience score of 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. With the show performing so well, one would think that a second season is bound to happen, but that’s still anyone’s guess.

Will there be a season 2 of Crash Landing on You?

As it stands now, there doesn’t appear to be any news concerning a second season of the Netflix original series, which may come as a shock to fans considering how well the series has been perceived.

It’s definitely frustrating to not hear any season 2 renewal news Crash Landing on You, but this one huge reason may be the culprit for the lack of a renewal. According to What’s on Netflix, the show is not expected to be renewed for season 2.

We got a pretty great ending for the first season where most of the characters got everything they wanted, despite all their various trials. One could even say that the finale left a nicely tied ribbon, signifying the perfect ending for a series finale. Because of this, a season 2 wouldn’t necessarily be warranted because there would be nothing left to cover.

Though there’s a possible lack of material, fans of the drama desperately would love to see a continuation of Jeong-hyuk and Se-ri’s love story and we have to agree.
