After Netflix licensed and released 365 Days around the world in 2020, the movie has a massive hit. Instead of waiting to license and distribute the follow-up movies, Netflix was quick to order a second and third installment as in-house productions.

The movies are based on the book series written by Blanka Lipinska, who is also involved with the new movies which will be making their way to Netflix sooner than you might think!

While we’ll have to wait to see what Netflix’s plans are for the third film in the franchise, 365 Days: This Day, the highly anticipated sequel to 2020’s 365 Days, is coming to Netflix this April!

365 Days: This Day release date

365 Days: This Day will debut on Netflix on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. The spring release date was confirmed via a surprise announcement made by Netlflix, coming after the official April release schedule had been announced.

The April 27 release date is earlier than when many had expected the film to arrive, as it had previously been hinted that the sequel to 2020’s breakout hit wouldn’t arrive until Summer 2022. Instead, fans will be able to enjoy the film within just a matter of weeks!

365 Days: This Day cast

Of course, we couldn’t have a 365 Days sequel without its two leads! Anna-Maria Sieklucka and Michele Morrone will both return to reprise their roles as Laura and Massimo, respectively. They’ll be joined by a mix of new and returning faces including Simone Susinna (Nacho), Magdalena Lamparska (Olga), Otar Saralidze (Domenico).

After leaving fans in the dark for nearly two years, an official synopsis for 365 Days 2 finally arrived on April 7 — just weeks ahead of the film’s release. In the brief synopsis, featured below, Netlfix teases a bumpy road ahead for Laura and Massimo in the form of complicated family ties and a mystery man about to stir up some drama for the pair!
