Does Shadow and Bone star Archie Renaux have a child?

Shadow and Bone has officially hit Netflix today, and chances are if you’ve checked out the first episode, you might already have a crush on Malyen “Mal” Oretsev. The charming character who’s in a bit of a will-they, won’t-they relationship with protagonist Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li) at the start of the series is played by actor Archie Renaux.

You might recognize Renaux for a minor role in the TV series Hanna, his character Leo Day in Gold Diggers where he appears alongside his Shadow and Bone co-star Ben Barnes, and his parts in films such as Body of Water and Voyagers. The 23-year-old British actor has a few impressive parts on his resume, but he’s still very much an up-and-comer. And his next project is extremely exciting. Renaux is set to appear in Marvel’s Morbius, the highly-anticipated film starring Jared Leto in the titular role.

The 39-year-old actor is seemingly single and ready to mingle, though he sparked romance rumors with close friend Julianne Hough earlier this year.
