Shows and movies on Netflix: The Beauty and the Baker

I’m still bitter that The Beauty and the Baker wasn’t renewed for a second season. However, it’s finally time to relive the first season. The ABC series is finally coming to Netflix this week.

The series follows Daniel Garcia, a man working in his family’s bakery. He does everything his parents and siblings tell him and expect of him, but one wild night in Miami leads to his life completely changing.

Daniel meets Noa Hollander, an international superstar just out of a high-profile relationship. Naturally, sparks between the two leads form, and now they need to decide if they’re ready for the culture clash that’s about to come.

It was a fun series with some excellent representation. This is not something you want to miss out on this time, even if it doesn’t end in a way we wanted.

All episodes are available at once on Tuesday, April 13.
