Obsessing over fictional characters is common when you get fully hooked on a TV show or movie series, and it’s hard not to imagine what life would be like if you were friends with them. Whether you crush on a character, want to be them, or are just interested to see what they would be like in the real world, you can’t deny you’ve wondered what could be. Netflix characters are certainly no exception.

Between fan-favorite series Stranger Things, Lucifer, Money Heist, and many more, there’s plenty of characters to fall in love with. And when it comes to wanting to become friends and hang out with these fictional people, the list goes on and on.

In honor of it being Spring Break Week at Netflix Life, here are the six Netflix characters we’d absolutely love to party with!

Klaus Hargreeves from The Umbrella Academy

If you’ve seen The Umbrella Academy, you know that Klaus Hargreeves (Robert Sheehan) is the party animal of the siblings. Wildly misunderstood by his family, Klaus frequently uses alcohol to cope with his inner demons. We don’t encourage this type of self-destructive behavior, but the fact of the matter is that Klaus is just such an interesting and fun person. We’d love to party with him, even if it was a dry get-together! We don’t need substances to have a wild time with this awesome character.

Eleven from Stranger Things

Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) from Stranger Things is the best Netflix Original character, hands down. There’s no question about it. With that said, we’d really enjoy hanging out with her to get to know the inner workings of her mind. And beyond her powers, Eleven is just such a fun preteen. She has so much to offer the world and yet, she has barely explored it. This party would, of course, be alcohol-free, and we could listen to music and talk about anything!

Ruth Langmore from Ozark

While Ruth Langmore (Julia Garner) from Ozark is typically very serious, we know she can also hang back and have some fun. Her quick and feisty personality makes her the perfect party partner, and it would be so awesome getting to see the relaxed and silly side of her. Marty, we’re sorry, but we’re stealing Ruth for an epic celebration soon!

Harry Jowsey from Too Hot to Handle

Technically not a character, Harry Jowsey is a Netflix reality show contestant. The 23-year-old Australian heartthrob caught our attention when Too Hot to Handle season 1 dropped in April 2020. His hilarious one-liners and phrases such as “naughty possum” were too hard to ignore, and it would really be so entertaining to party with him. He might get a bit crazy, but that would be the fun of it, right?

Lily from Dash and Lily

While Lily (Midori Francis) from Dash and Lily starts out as a reserved girl without a party bone in her body, she soon begins to loosen up while exchanging letters with Dash. She’s hesitant to show her wild side, but when she does, she’s so fun! We probably wouldn’t want alcohol at this party considering she didn’t exactly have the best experience last time she got drunk at McSorley’s, but we could still have a blast dancing all night.

Lara Jean Covey from To All the Boys

Lara Jean (Lana Condor) from the To All the Boys movies is another character you might not expect to be the greatest party partner, but hear me out. She’s awesome at planning, has great music taste, and seems to be open to a new social butterfly lifestyle at NYU. Plus, we’ll make sure to invite Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) so she’ll be in the best mood! We’d love to have a rooftop celebration in her new hometown of New York City.

dark. Next. Fyre Festival and good beach documentaries to stream on Netflix, Hulu, and more

There are plenty of other Netflix characters we’d love to share a wild night with, but these are my personal top picks. Who would you choose?
