5 best Netflix shows to watch in April 2021

We understand that, as much as we love Netflix, it can be one of the most difficult streaming services to browse. Not that we’re complaining, of course, it just has so much to offer! When it comes to variety, Netflix is king.

Two of the most highly anticipated returning shows of 2021 are You season 3 and Lucifer season 5, part 2. The latter which recently announced will be returning on May 28, and we couldn’t be more excited about it! For the third season of You, however, we’ll have to keep waiting as it won’t be happening in April 2021.

Not to worry, though, there is still plenty of shows coming to keep us all entertained. Below, we give you a quick list of the five shows to keep on your radar.

1. Prank Encounters

Pranks aren’t for everybody, but if you can’t get enough of watching people pulling pranks on others, you have to watch Prank Encounters. The reality prank series is hosted by Gaten Matarazzo (Stranger Things) and follows Matarazzo and his team scaring the socks off their victims.

2. The Wedding Coach

Love is in the air this spring! It’s been proven that fans love all things romance (and drama) that Netflix has had to offer. From reality dating shows such as Love is Blind to Marriage or Mortgage. The Wedding Coach features wedding planning like you’ve never seen before. Let’s just say it’s not always as glamorous as magazines make it out to be.

3. This is a Robbery

The biggest heist in history is detailed in This is Robbery. On St. Patrick’s Day weekend in 1990, what would be worth over half a billion dollars today was stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston.

4. Dad, Stop Embarrassing Me!

This is one of the most anticipated shows coming in April 2021. It stars Jamie Foxx as Brian Dixon, a business owner and bachelor who is also a full-time dad to a teenage daughter, Sasha (Kyla-Drew). Brian loves Sasha, but as you can guess by the title, his father-efforts are at the expense of Sasha –which audiences will love and laugh along to.

5. Shadow and Bone

Netflix subscribers may be highly anticipating Dad, Stop Embarrassing Me!, but the favorite of the month is by far Shadow and Bone. Fans of the book trilogy have long been waiting for the fantasy series to premiere.

The series follows Alina, a “lowly soldier” and orphan who unleashes a power that could set her country free. But this power isn’t easy to control and there are dangerous threats that prove Alina will need more than power to succeed.
