Fans of Elle Woods, schedule your mani and get those pink accessories ready because Legally Blonde is coming to Netflix on Thursday, April 1. Grab your best gal pals and enjoy a girl’s night in.

Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) is your stereotypical sorority girl who was hoping to be proposed to by her perfect man, Warner (Mattew Davis), but he breaks up with her because she isn’t serious enough. She shows him just how serious she can be when she applies to Harvard Law, the college he will be attending.

Elle’s main goal is to get her boyfriend back by showing him how serious she can be. In the process, she discovers more than she bargained for. She discovers that she is a strong independent woman who can do more than she ever thought she could. While this movie is mostly lighthearted, it does turn into a girl-power movie. It shows that no matter what people think of you or how they pigeonhole you into a certain “type,” you can be anything you want to be.

The film also stars Luke Wilson, Selma Blair, Victor Garber and Jennifer Coolidge. Coolidge is a stand-out who plays Elle’s manicurist who needs Elle’s help getting her dog back from her ex-husband and with her dating life. She adds a great comedic element to the movie.

What time is Legally Blonde on Netflix?

Legally Blonde will be available to stream on Netflix on April 1, 12:01 am PT.  This could be a late-night or early morning viewing, depending on your location. Or perhaps, you could wait until the next evening when you can better enjoy the movie on Netflix.

Legally Blonde was last available on Netflix in June of 2019, and fans were distraught when the film and its sequel were removed. There was a whole Twitter thing about these two films leaving the streaming network.
