While March is just getting rolling, Netflix is already announcing a bunch of new movies and shows coming in April 2021. Below, we shared the full list of new Netflix movies and shows coming next month.

Overall, April is looking like a much better month than March 2021. While Netflix is clearly still feeling the effects of the worldwide production shutdown in March, we’re starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

April is shaping up to be the best month of the year for new Netflix movies and shows, and it’s not really close.

We still don’t know the full list of what’s new on Netflix in April, but we do know a bunch of the new titles.

What to watch on Netflix in April 2021

At the time of publishing, Shadow and Bone looks to be the biggest Netflix new release of the month. The series, which is based on the stories from Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse, hits Netflix on April 23. Shadow and Bone is a fantasy series that stars Jessie Mei Li, Ben Barnes, Archie Renaux, Amita Suman, Kit Young, Freddy Carter, and more.

But, there are other good Netflix movies and shows coming to the streaming service before Shadow and Bone, including Netflix originals like Concrete Cowboy starring Idris Elba and Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin on April 2, Prank Encounters with Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo on April 1, Thunder Force starring Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer on April 9, and Dad Stop Embarrassing Me starring Jamie Foxx on April 14.

Anime fans will want to check out Yasuke starring Keith Stanfield on April 29.
